Hello Hus Ski and Diablo Rouge Enthusiasts,

Here we come New York!

It has been almost 10 years since we celebrated the Diablo Rouge 50th in Port Washington, Wisconsin. If you made it to that event, you surely were not disappointed. We are now planning to have another great get together in 2027.

Diablo Rouge 60th & Hus Ski 65th Anniversary Celebration – Weekend of February 26-28th in West Leyden, New York.

And if you know West Leyden, you know it is located on the Tug Hill Plateau in northern New York just west of the Adirondack Mountains. That means snow, trails, riding and winter fun! Our friends John Mierek and Ed Stabb are from the area and are busy making all kinds of inquiries to put on a “Once In A Lifetime” event for a Hus Ski or Diablo Rouge Enthusiast.

The main event will be Saturday and take place at the Tug Hill Hideaway in conjunction with the Annual Vintage Show and Ride. In addition to the wide variety of vintage snowmobiles being shown, our Hus Skis and Diablo Rouges will have their own display area. The event will offer some Hus Ski/Diablo specific trophies and recognition. We expect to smash the record of Hus Ski and Diablo Rouges in one place with sleds coming from all over the US and Canada.

The area around the Hideway has trails that we can ride without registration. We expect to have an organized trail ride opportunity this day as well as one on Friday and Sunday. The area also offers prime access to the trail systems throughout the Adirondak Mountain area, so if you have modern snowmobiles, you may want to obtain a trail pass and extend your stay in the area.

We are planning for a banquet event for Saturday Evening that includes dinner, some presentations and door prizes. There will need to be a pre-paid fee to attend and reservations will be required. Please contact Bruce Schoblaska via email for banquet reservations at bruce@gogodiablo.com.

We are planning a purchase of various apparel specific to the event. Sweatshirts, t-shirts, caps and hats with great Hus Ski and Diablo Rouge Anniversary designs for starters. If you are interested in reserving apparel before it becomes sold out, please contact Bruce at bruce@gogodiablo.com. 

We have booked blocks of rooms in two hotels. Please book your rooms soon by asking for “Diablo Rouge & Hus-Ski Anniversary” rooms when registering.
